Geraldton boasts its outstanding primary care centre developed by the private sector with the recent opening of Health Central Geraldton on 27 October, 2008.
Business Manager Kevin Waycott: “This purpose built facility has been developed by local GP’s committed to Geraldton and provides clients with access to a wider range of health services in one convenient location, enabling better coordination of care for clients.”
Holistic care
A health centre that offers comprehensive holistic care is a first for Geraldton, and one of the biggest in the state. Dr Ian Taylor: "It's a team approach - not just doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. It's about looking after the whole patient, not just parts."

The design of the building features energy efficient clerestories with welcoming high ceilings and natural sky lighting.
